Silure fishing in France BURGUNDY silurus glanis (sometimes weighing up to 200 lbs) Silure are huge carnivorous catfish. Originally they were found in the depth of the big rivers of central Europe. The Danube in Hungary and Yugoslavia is a typical silure river. They were introduced in western Europe a couple of decades ago. They do quite well in the Rhein, the Rhône, the Loire, but the river la Saône in Burgundy remains the top spot. We can arrange for you guided days from a boat in Burgundy on the Saône river. Your guide is probably the best specialist in our country. |
Price of the guided day on a boat, 182euros
