I have been asked several times by previous hunting or fishing clients to arrange a French hiking holiday. Just walking across beautiful landscapes, day cut by a nice forest or riverside picnic, pick up whenever you call it a day, luggage following, good dinner at the end. Simply walking, lighthearted, enjoying the pleasures of the way -like the vineyards of Sancerre on this picture. This was often designed for a couple, sometimes to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Day trips from Paris are possible.

THE WAY or 'El Camino' ! Ever dreamt of walking on the pilgrim's way to Santiago de Compostela ? We can organize an easy 5 or 6 days test on the very nice portion between Toulouse and Lourdes, near our summer residence. It is a fairly "off the beaten paths" path if I may say ! across the Gers region in Gascony country. We'll take you where you stop every evening, you'll have a hot shower, a good dinner, a 'wee dram' of armagnac and a good bed. The next morning we'll put you back to start at the exact point where you had stopped. Is it cheating? It is not ! it is serious walking, but comfort is not forgotten.
