The Pyrenees of Béarn
Trout stream of the Béarn mountains in the Pyrenees The region of Béarn is in the backcountry of the Ocean resorts like Biarritz or Saint Jean de Luz. It is a genuine place to visit offering a great mix of superb landscapes, old stones, quaint hotels and villages, rustic but fantastic gastronomy and beautiful streams to fish for trout or salmon. Our best choice of accommodation is mainly in the very affordable village or country 2** stars hotels with great table specialized in local products. old stones...  salmon rivers flowing in the streets of old villages  where you find ountain cheese and beautiful "charcuteries"  from picturesque street markets  or from my favorite "Fishing Butcher" !!!  Look at his salmon fishing pictures posted in his back !  He always gives the best advice to "compose" a fantastic fishing picnic...  And the great salmon pools are often also great picnic spots  And great trophy trout spots (here caught by your guide Greg).
